Biography

I'm fresh out of Ad School and finally ready for a real job. I specialize in big idea conception and art direction (especially interactive), but also enjoy writing, illustration, making people laugh, flip-flops, sugar and sports.

    Problem: People spend less time expressing themselves and celebrating occasions on paper.
    Solution: Bring Hallmark into the digial space using innovative online and social networking tools not available five years ago.

  • MAKE THE CONNECTION

    Problem: People's general perception is that nytimes.com is just the newspaper online.
    Solution: Make people aware of the vast amount and variety of interactive media content that is available on the site.
    A "six degrees of seperation" approach connects real headlines from different sections of the website. We also created some new, interactive tools that offer an innovative way to search and interact with informational content.

  • VIRTUAL PETS SAVE REAL ONES FROM SHELTERS

    Problem: Tons of kids want pets, but they are a real commitment and responsibility.
    Solution: An entirely interactive campaign where a child can practice taking care of a pet. After a month of success, the parent and kid are encouraged to adopt a pet from their local Humane Society.

  • INCREASE YOUR Vi-Q

    Problem: Convince women to make purchasing vitamins and supplements a priority, rather than just adding to the cart at their local grocery stores, supercenters and pharmacies (Despite it's masculine image).
    Solution: Rebrand the Vitamin Shoppe experience the be more interactive and showcase the superior knowledge of the staff.

  • SKIP AHEAD

    Problem: Prove to parents how the earlier they start teaching their kids, the more successful they will become.
    Solution: Anyone can be a genius if they accumulate 10,000 hours of practice. We photographed kid-versions of well-known phenoms that all started young to show the benefit of taking art, music and play classes at Gymboree.

  • SUCK IT UP

    Problem: 1 in 3 Americans is obese, largely because of lack of exercise, poor diet or both.
    Solution: Smoothie King tells it like it is. If you're unhealthy or unfit, you're the only one who can do something about it.

  • IT'S FUNNY, UNTIL IT'S YOUR CHILD

    Problem: Parents are not talking to their kids about the dangers of underage drinking.
    Solution: Use humor while still communicating a serious idea to help parents break the ice with their kids.
